Nigerian international Kenneth Omeruo has shared his reaction after playing a key role in helping Kasimpasa secure a comeback draw against Galatasaray at Rams Park. The experienced defender came on in the 30th minute, just moments after his fellow Nigerian, Victor Osimhen, scored twice for Galatasaray. Osimhen had opened the scoring in the 20th minute and followed it up with a powerful half-volley eight minutes later to make it 2-0.
Omeruo was quickly brought into the game, but before he could settle, Mauro Icardi struck in the 34th minute, extending Galatasaray’s lead to 3-0. Kasimpasa, however, they began their fightback when Mamadou Fall pulled one back just before halftime in the 44th minute.
After the break, Kasimpasa returned with a new game plan, effectively shutting down Galatasaray’s attack. Their persistence paid off when Haris Hajradinovic scored a penalty in the 83rd minute, and Nuno Miguel da Costa completed the stunning comeback with a last-minute goal, securing a dramatic 3-3 draw.
